Journey from a Cement Box to Home

"You cannot be lonely if you like the person you’re alone with.” – Wayne Dyer

It's a nice thing to hear, isn't it? Especially at a time like this when all the people are trapped inside these boxes of cement, hiding from a tiny, invisible organism that has brought the world down to it's knees. We eagerly await the moment when we will be able to hug our friends again, share our food again, step out into the world again.

We are just waiting for the quarantine to be lifted and praying for things to go back to normal.

But what will this normal look like?

When stepping out into the world, or getting close to anyone has in itself become a huge safety hazard, it's time we rethink our definition of "normal".

Social distancing has become the new normal and is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future. We will all now leave the house holding an invisible sign saying "stay away". Well on the bright side , atleast this has put pickpockets out of business. Well them and a whole bunch of other people. But worry not, for we can all fight this virus together (that is by not coming together)...

Though it might seem like we are all trapped, but if we just learn to enjoy being with ourselves, maybe we will find ourselves more at ease and less trapped. It's all about finding those little things that make us interesting. Finding those little things that can make it enjoyable for us to just hang out with ourselves, and make our house less of a cement prison and more like home.
